Glasshouse is a satirical take on a speculative hotel design in the future, built during times where much of nature has been overtaken by destruction. It is a hotel where the rooms are generated with augmented reality (AR) for its viewer to bask in total escapism. The logo derives from the most humanistic element, our fingerprints. The color palette was based on scholarly essays on color psychology and synesthesia, to ensure a feeling of dreaminess and calmness. Conversely, I wanted to show such a concept is pretty ironic and so I juxtaposed the serene tone of the project with harsh, reflective metals in the promo and rough rocks and concrete in the imagery of the AR displays.
